Update your home with fall colors
The leaves are falling, the days are getting shorter, and its time to change focus from outdoor activities to indoors. So, how is your home looking during these changing seasons?
There are easy things you can do to instantly change the look of your home.
Begin by changing your accessories. Pillows, throws, candles in rich earth tones like reds, orange, plumbs and golds bring a cozy, timely feeling to your space. Display elements from nature like leaves or berry-covered branches in a vase on a mantle or table or create centerpieces and candleholders using gourds, pumpkins and green apples.
These are quick fixes that bring seasonal changes that just you feel happy when you walk in the door.
But, they can’t eliminate tension caused when a room is out of balance, too crowded, or conflicted by colors that don’t work together.
